Jamee is a speaker, coach, and comedian from Baltimore, Maryland. She is the youngest of three children, which she attributes to her outgoing personality and survivor mentality. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology. In her early career, she was a counselor working in Baltimore area hospitals. Later that year, her mother died suddenly, and the course of her life would change forever.

Jamee decided to grab life and take chances. She quit her job, broke her lease, and moved to New York City. Upon arrival, she took a summer acting class at NYU and was immediately hooked. The next phase of her life revolved around acting and directing theater. Jamee was cast in the film, which required a move to the west coast. Her love of writing helped launch a successful stand-up comedy career in the mid-2000s, including an amazing opportunity to take part in a comedy tour that was one of the best experiences of her life.

The loss of her sister to cancer was a tipping point. Her losses became her new calling. It was time to pivot from performer to public speaker. Jamee earned her certified coaching degree and started public speaking on the subject of turning loss into leadership. When she’s not working, she loves cooking and traveling with her husband, golden retriever, and imaginary Downton Abbey staff.
